Joel Wayne Garber

Joel Wayne Garber has been at the helm of Garber Law since 1986. From his office in Voorhees, New Jersey, he focuses his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation representing residents of Camden, Burlington and Gloucester counties who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. The types of matters that Mr. Garber handles include medical malpractice, motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, nursing home neglect, defective products and construction site accidents. His prior experience as an attorney with a casualty insurance company has given him an insight into the types of tactics that personal injury defendants will use in his cases. Mr. Garber also has experience in employment litigation and in representing policy holders whose claims have been denied in bad faith.

During his career as a plaintiff's attorney, Mr. Garber has successfully obtained numerous sizable settlements and jury awards on behalf of his clients, including a $10 million settlement in a case involving a leg amputation and a $5 million award for a client who was injured in a truck accident. These results and others have gained him membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an invitation-only organization limited to trial attorneys who have obtained at least one seven-figure verdict or settlement.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Garber attended Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1979. He then enrolled at the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, graduating in 1984 with his Juris Doctor. Admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Mr. Garber is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
