John Fiorello is a founding member of Fiorello, Puccio & Fiorello LLC, and has been practicing in northern New Jersey since 1965. His practice focuses primarily on Family Law, an area in which he has extensive experience. Mr. Fiorello received his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall School of Law in 1962 where he was a Centennial Scholar. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University in 1959.Mr. Fiorello was awarded with the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award for Passaic County by the New jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law in 2000. He was a founding member and a Master of the Northern New Jersey Family Inn, American Inns of Court. He is also a Court Qualified Mediator of economic matters in Family Law cases. Mr. Fiorello served as President of the Passaic County Bar Association (1993-1994) and continues to be a Trustee of that Association. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and served as a Trustee of that Bar Association for 6 years from 2000-2006. He has been a presenter at several Family Law seminars and has authored several Family Law Articles including: Call Daddy and Tell Him I'm Sick-When Children Refuse to Visit; Pendente Lite Child Support; Domestic Violence and Child Custody/Parenting Time; Jury Trials for Marital Torts; Employability Experts-Do They Make a Difference? Intercepting and Recording Electronic or Wire Communications in Family Law Cases. Mr. Fiorello represents the Wayne Senior Citizens Runnymede Corp. He also represents the Wayne Township Memorial First Aid Squad, Pro Bono. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Passaic County Legal Aid Society and was President of the Board for one year. He also served on the District II Fee Arbitration Committee. Mr. Fiorello concentrates his practice in family law matters including: divorce, custody and parenting, alimony, child support, domestic violence, relocation of children, modification of support, division of assets and related matters. He has extensive trial experience and has appeared in several appeals before the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey . He has also appeared before the Supreme Court of New Jersey. However, he also represents the Township of Wayne regarding affordable housing matters and he represents the Woodland Park Board of Zoning Adjustment. Mr. Fiorello served on active duty in the United States Army Reserve from 1963 to 1965 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.
