Chance A. Gauthier

Mr. Gauthier took his first steps into pursuing law by attending The University of New Mexico School of Law, where his academic prowess and practical knowledge were evident from the outset. He took part in many activities during this time to give himself every opportunity to strengthen the base of his strong legal foundations in an effort to help his clients today. He received his Juris Doctor in 2017, and the very next year, he obtained his license to practice law in New Mexico. Prior to enrolling at law school, he completed his undergraduate studies in 2012 from The University of New Mexico, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in political science.

With a fervent desire to make the law accessible to all, Mr. Gauthier spent a considerable amount of time helping people gain trust back in the New Mexico judiciary through his selection to staff the New Mexico Judicial Standards Commission. During his time there, he ensured that the judiciary was held to high ethical standards and to the Code of Judicial Conduct.

Within a relatively short period of time, Mr. Gauthier has created a fierce reputation as an attorney who will fight tooth and nail to get his clients the relief they deserve and the compensation to move forward with their lives. He has brought forth notable results for his clients, including $1.05 million (2017) and $235,000 (2023) settlements in medical malpractice cases, as well as being involved in a $36 million verdict in a motor vehicle accident and insurance bad faith case. Within his legal community, he is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico.
