Chris Gatton

As a shareholder at Giddens & Gatton Law, P.C. (formerly the Law Office of George "Dave" Giddens, P.C.), Chris Gatton is dedicated to representing clients in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the surrounding area. He focuses his practice on handling cases that involve bankruptcy issues such as chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13; litigation; and creditor bankruptcy representation.

In 1998, Mr. Gatton earned a Bachelor of Science in fisheries science from New Mexico State University. He later earned a Juris Doctor in 2009 from The University of New Mexico School of Law, where he received the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal of Excellence.

Someone struggling to make ends meet may feel uncertain about his or her future. For years, Mr. Gatton has been helping his clients find a sense of financial clarity. He explores each person’s unique circumstances and outlines the available courses of action. There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to bankruptcy cases, which is why Mr. Gatton devotes personal attention to every client. He develops a strategy to address a number of goals, such as stopping creditor harassment, reducing debt or restructuring a business’s finances.

Mr. Gatton is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico’s Bankruptcy Law Section, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Albuquerque Bar Association. He was admitted to practice in New Mexico and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico in 2009.

When he is not at his practice, Mr. Gatton enjoys spending time fly fishing, playing guitar and enjoying life with his wife and two daughters.

Mr. Gatton is a debt relief agent. He helps people file for bankruptcy relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy code.
