Katie Curry

As a Partner at McGinn Montoya Love & Curry, Katie Curry is dedicated to serving clients in fights against big corporations and organizations. She handles cases involving medical malpractice, negligence, liability, industrial catastrophes, reckless driving and truck accidents, and civil rights violations. She fights to improve the health and safety of citizens across New Mexico.

Ms. Curry graduated in 2001 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts in French as well as a bachelor’s degree in journalism in news-editorial journalism. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she earned the academic honors of Order of the Coif and dean's list. She became licensed to practice in New Mexico in 2006.

Since joining McGinn, Carpenter, Montoya & Love, P.A., Ms. Curry has focused her career on improving the health and well-being of clients who have suffered a personal injury, medical malpractice, or liability regarding premises and products. She works with the families of victims of wrongful death, medical malpractice and nursing home negligence to encourage accountability for the corporations or individuals who have caused harm, injury or death.

Ms. Curry has been a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association since 2006. She is also a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. She is a board member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the New Mexico Supreme Court Committee on Uniform Jury Instructions in civil cases. From 2004 to 2005, she was a member of American Inns of Court.
