Details

Tiffany Oliver Leigh is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist and Former Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico.  From 2015-2018, Tiffany has named by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, a designation bestowed upon less than 3% of attorneys in Arizona and New Mexico for excellence in practice.  In 2020 and 2021, Ms. Leigh was named a Southwest Super Lawyer.  Ms. Leigh has also been recognized by her colleagues in The Best Lawyers in America, a peer review guide to the legal profession.

Since her graduation from the University of New Mexico, School of Law in 2004, she has practiced exclusively in the area of family law.  Her practice includes divorce, property division, child custody, child support, as well as the drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.  Tiffany assists her clients in selecting the course of action best suited for their individual case, whether that be litigation, negotiation, or collaborative divorce.  Ms. Leigh is frequently called upon by clients and the court alike to serve as a mediator to assist parties in bringing resolution to their family law matters.

Tiffany is a founder and regular volunteer at the Divorce Options Workshop, a monthly community outreach program designed to teach pro se litigants how to resolve their family law issues without the need for court intervention.  She also co-authored Divorce in New Mexico, a divorce question-and-answer format book that provides easy to understand information regarding the divorce process in the State of New Mexico.

Tiffany frequently presents at continuing education seminars and in 2011 received the Continuing Legal Education Crest Award, an award given to the top young lawyer presentation by the State Bar of New Mexico.  In 2014, Tiffany co-authored an amicus brief which resulted in the New Mexico Supreme Court reversing a Court of Appeals decision and extending guardians ad litem quasi-judicial immunity.  Tiffany is committed to educating her clients to empower them to intelligently navigate the family law waters and achieve the best possible results.
