Andrew J. Cavazos

A partner at Poulos & Cavazos, LLP, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Andrew J. Cavazos is efficient in his work ethic and unbreakable in his  commitment toward clients to getting them justice for the pain and suffering they’ve had to go through due to doctor or hospital negligence. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge of other personal injury matters such as motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents and wrongful death. 

A 2013 Bachelor of Arts degree graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in political science and government with a minor in business administration, Mr. Cavazos set his sights on law early on, attending the Texas Tech University School of Law and receiving his Juris Doctor in 2016. During his time in law school, he honed his shrewd legal acumen by being a part of many organizations, including the Hispanic Law Students Association (president, vice president and member of the year), the Student Bar Association, the American Bar Association (school representative), the Board of Barristers (Director of Communications), the Civil Practice Clinical Program and many more. He is licensed to practice across state courts in both New Mexico and Texas.

Mr. Cavazos, through his hard work and dedication to his clients, has come to be known as a premier attorney serving the residents of New Mexico, helping those injured get the due compensation they need to get back the semblance of normalcy that’s been lost from their lives. He understands that medical practitioners should always be held to the highest standards of safety, but when that duty of care is not upheld, they should be held accountable for the same.
