Damon Jeffrey Hudson

As the founding attorney of Hudson Injury Law, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Damon Jeffrey Hudson represents clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse and neglect matters. He focuses on helping individuals and families navigate the legal challenges that arise after serious injuries and instances of negligence, working to secure compensation and accountability on their behalf.

Mr. Hudson has obtained significant results for injured clients in a variety of matters. Among his notable case outcomes, he secured $4.4 million for clients who were struck by a private company vehicle traveling more than 20 mph above the speed limit. He also recovered $1.5 million for clients in product liability cases, helping them pursue damages related to defective and unsafe products.

A distinguished professional, Mr. Hudson brings a practical and analytical perspective to his practice. Mr. Hudson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2019. Prior to attending law school, he received a Master of Arts in public administration from the University of New Mexico in 2016 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the same university in 2013.

Admitted to practice law in New Mexico since 2019, Mr. Hudson remains active in the legal and local communities. He serves as a member of the Board of Bar Commissioners and was the 2023 chair of the New Mexico Young Lawyers Division. He also served as chair of the division’s Wills for Heroes program from 2020 through 2022 and is a board member of the Abrazos Family Foundation.
