Mr. Hnasko represents a variety of clients in all aspects of environmental law. His experience includes prosecuting and defending complex toxic tort cases, issues under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, the Resources Conservation and Recovery Act, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System issues under the Clean Water Act, and a variety of cases under the New Mexico Hazardous Waste Act, the New Mexico Water Quality Control Act, the New Mexico Groundwater Protection Act, and the New Mexico Air Quality Act. Mr. Hnasko has authored numerous articles on environmental litigation, environmental compliance issues and environmental due diligence investigations, and he has lectured on a variety of environmental subjects to the State bars of Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico and to other continuing legal education groups. Mr. Hnasko is recognized by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in environmental law. He presently serves as Chair of the New Mexico Environmental Specialization Committee and is a fellow in the American College of Environmental Lawyers.
