In 1970, Mr. Cohn graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and as a member of the dean's list. He then attended Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated in 1973 with his Juris Doctor. Several years later, he obtained his Master of Laws from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the state of New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Appellate Division Second Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

Mr. Cohn has a lengthy history of working with professional organizations and is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Brooklyn Bar Association. He is also a founding member and on the board of trustees for the Volunteer Lawyers Project and a family law instructor for BARBRI Bar Review course.

An adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, he is a district delegate and member of the executive committee for the New York State Bar Association. With extensive experience working in state and federal courts in New York, he takes a results-oriented approach to every case.
