After receiving her undergraduate degree from Russell Sage College, Ms. Sampson attended Pace University School of Law in the evenings as she maintained full-time employment as a corporate tax professional. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 1985 and joined Mobil Oil Corporation in their tax department. In 1983, she published an article in the CPA Journal entitled "Life Insurance Proceeds in a Decedent's Estate," and she credits this experience with helping to spur her interest in focusing her practice on estate planning and administration as well as tax law.

Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Sampson has gained invaluable experience in a variety of legal areas, and she finds great reward in being able to help so many protect themselves and their loved ones for the future. She has a particular interest in representing those with special needs as well as assisting nonprofits in fulfilling their missions to assist and support the disabled and those with emotional and cognitive development disorders.

An accredited attorney with the Veterans Administration, Ms. Sampson maintains active involvement with several professional legal organizations, including the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New York State Bar Association, where she is a member of the estate, elder Law, real estate and business sections. She is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the National Association of Realtors.
