Adrian Pandev is a go-to attorney for foreign founders, investors, and companies entering the US market. Adrian is one of the few attorneys who integrates business, immigration, and tax law in a single practice, which allows him to solve complex cross-border problems that would otherwise require coordinating multiple attorneys or firms.
Adrian's immigration practice focuses on investor and employment-based immigration. He regularly represents E-2 Treaty Investors, L-1 Intracompany Transferees, EB-5 Investors, O-1 Individuals of Extraordinary Ability, and H-1B Specialty Workers before US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the US Department of State. His employment-based permanent residence work includes PERM Labor Certifications, EB-2 National Interest Waivers, and EB-1 petitions for Individuals of Extraordinary Ability and Multinational Managers. He also helps unite families through marriage, fiance, and other family-based petitions.
In his business practice, Adrian advises foreign-owned startups and their investors on company formation, corporate governance, venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. His tax practice focuses on pre-immigration tax planning, structuring inbound investments and US real estate purchases, and foreign account and asset reporting for international families.
Before founding Pandev Law, Adrian served as a Trial Attorney at the US Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation, in Washington, DC, where he represented federal agencies, including the US Department of State, US Customs and Border Protection, and US Citizenship and Immigration Services, before federal district courts and courts of appeal throughout the United States. He draws on that government experience to advise on compliance matters and to challenge agency decisions in federal court.
Adrian teaches business law as an adjunct professor at St. John's University in New York and has appeared as a legal commentator on various news broadcasts. Adrian is fluent in German, Russian, Hungarian, and Bulgarian, which allows him to assist many clients in their native language.
