- I represented a teacher who was accused by two students of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. The case went to trial in NY County and my client was found not guilty of all four counts. I represented him on the same facts administratively and he was able to keep his job at the Department of Education. I represented a client charged with murder in Bronx County. There were 3 co defendants. My client was able to plea guilty to felony assault with a repleader to a misdemeanor and a program. No jail time. I represented a client in Queens County who was found with a loaded gun at the airport. My client was able to plea to disorderly conduct. I represented a client found in possession of a loaded gun and drugs in New York County. He entered a plea of guilty to a reduced charge and received probation. I represented a client who was charged with not paying over $150,000 to the Workman's Compensation Fund from her business. My client entered a plea of guilty and received a conditional discharge with restitution.. She was not able to pay the restitution so we had a judgment entered for a much reduced amount. No jail and no probation. I represented a client in NY County charged with murder and possession of a loaded firearm. He shot a person in the street in the back. He was facing a life sentence. We alleged that it was a good case for self defense as we alleged he was being robbed . He entered a plea of guilty to manslaughter and received 12 years flat. I represented a client charged with an A 1 felony narcotics sale case in NY County. I convinced the ADA that he was a minor participant and he received one year city time. I represented a client in New York County charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon with intent to use. The original offer was 10 years in State prison. I submitted an extensive pre pleading report and was able to convince the Judge and ADA to have him do 2 years. He only entered a plea of guilty to the gun charge. I represented a client charged in New York County with felonies and misdemeanors of leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and other charges. There was extensive injury to another person and extensive property damage. I was able to get the case dismissed. I presently represent a client in Bronx County charged with murder. The case is still pending. After arrest, my client gave an extensive statement to the police. I was able to get the statement precluded through motion practice.
