In 1992, Mr. Sapone received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Fordham University. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor and graduate cum laude in 2000 from New York Law School.
Representing broker-dealers, investors and chief executive officers, Mr. Sapone understands the severity of white collar crimes. He explains the situation to his clients in plain language and compiles key evidence to support their defense. Mr. Sapone is criminal defense counsel to the Government of Mexico through its Consulate in Manhattan. He is a recent past-president of The New York Criminal Bar Association, and is the current chair of the Sentencing Committee. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers ("NACDL"), the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, the Federal Bar Council and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers ("NYSACDL").
