She has also fought for those unjustly evicted from their homes, and she has successfully prosecuted many landlords and property owners in both civil and criminal proceedings for a variety of offenses and litigious matters.

A leader in her legal community, Ms. Donoghue has served as vice president of the New York City Bar Association as well as chair of the organization's Executive, Judiciary, and Housing Court committees. She is also highly active with the New York County Lawyers Association, and she routinely conducts lectures and continuing legal education seminars across her region on a variety of legal topics.

Moreover, Ms. Donoghue accepted an appointment to serve on the New York State Bar Association Real Property Law Section's Housing Law Task Force on the Housing Stability & Tenant Protections Act of 2019, and in 2018, she served on the Future of New York City Housing Court Special Commission. She is an active member of the New York County Lawyers organization and the Network of Bar Leaders, and she has attained the status of fellow with the prestigious New York Bar Foundation.
