A leader in his field, Mr. Freiberg serves as an adjunct legal professor at Fordham University School of Law, where he has facilitated classes in legal writing for more than 10 years. He has also written extensively and conducted numerous lectures and continuing legal education seminars on a variety of topics, and he serves as a pro bono trust and estate litigation attorney for The New York Public Library.

A 1990 graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, Mr. Freiberg obtained his Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School in 1993. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as before the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court.

Mr. Freiberg serves as chair of Trust & Estate Magazine's Litigation Committee, and he is a member of the New York City Bar Association's Trusts, Estates and Surrogate’s Courts Committee; the Real Property, Trusts and Estates Law Section and Probate & Fiduciary Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association; and the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section, Trusts and Estates Law Section and Litigation Committee of the New York State Bar Association.
