    Ms. Friedman graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 1981 with a B.A. in History. She  earned her J.D.  from Yale Law School in 1985. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York as well as in the federal courts for the Eastern and Southern districts of New York. 

    Throughout her career, Ms. Friedman has been involved with many professional organizations, including the New York City Bar Association, where she has served multiple terms on the Copyright and Literary Property Committee and the Trademark Law Committee.
