Attorney Patrick Boyd is the founding partner of The Boyd Law Group, PLLC, in New York, New York. Mr. Boyd practices employment litigation on both the plaintiff and defense side, representing employers and employees in Manhattan and throughout the New York metropolitan region.

Mr. Boyd’s clients include individuals, small businesses and Fortune 100 companies. He has experience with all aspects of employment and labor litigation including contracts, discrimination, harassment, noncompete agreements, and wage and hour violations. He also handles claims before the National Labor Relations Board involving issues such as collective bargaining and grievance arbitration.

Over the course of his more than 15 years in practice, Mr. Boyd and his cases have been featured on media outlets including Fox News and the New York Times. In 2018, New York magazine recognized his accomplishments by naming him one of the “Leaders in the Law” among New York’s lawyers.

Mr. Boyd received a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, dual majoring in government and literature. He earned his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He is qualified to practice before all New York state and federal courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Boyd writes and speaks on various legal topics. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association/New York and the Dartmouth Lawyers Association. He serves on the executive committee for Dartmouth College class of 1995 and the executive committee board of advisors for St. John University School of Law’s Center for Labor and Employment Law.
