    A 1976 recipient of a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University as well as a Master of Science from that institution's School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences in 1979, Mr. Komitor pursued his legal education at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1980. While there, he was a Notes and Comments editor on the Hofstra Law Review. Admitted to practice in New York, Mr. Komitor is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

    During his career, Mr. Komitor has obtained many multimillion dollar settlements and jury awards on behalf of his clients, including three of the largest verdicts for mesothelioma in New York state history.
