Pro bono/Community Service:

  • I provide pro bono services to the indigent, police officers and Foundations. I represented an indigent woman, at the request of the Hudson Valley Legal Services, whose family attempted to prevent her from receiving her intestate share of an Estate. I devoted $22,000 in time and got her every penny she deserved after litigation. I also donated $2,500 to the Scarsdale Police to suuport their organization for the past 6 years, and donated money to my doctor's charity (Mission Doctors and JCK Foundation []) for medication for the poor and to help people struggling with mental illness, including donating to the Habitat For Humanity. I also trained for five months for the "MS" bicycle ride to raise money, but two weeks before the ride I fell off of my bicycle and broke my shoulder. I donated money for the MS charity and proudly supported my team members at the ride. I represented the "In the Pink Foundation, Inc" for breast cancer awareness for young woman at a substantial discount, and support their yearly charity drive. I donated my time and advice to the school where I grew up (Ardsley) by speaking to teachers, parents and/or children to bring awareness of alcohol and drug addiction, and educate them as to the legal ramifications. I am also a "Mentor" for the many years for 2 - 3 Pace Law School Students, and participate as a "Judge" in the International and First year's Moot Court Competition at Pace Law Scool for many years. Each year I dedicate time, money and advice to give back to my community and those in need. In 2009 to date I donated a significant amount of money to many different charities that I believe in, such as: In the Pink Foundation for breast cancer; Scarsdale Police Department for bullet proof vests; Maryknoll for medicine for the poor; Afya; Guiding Eyes For the Blind; American Cancer Society in memory of a friend's son; Coalition for the Homeless; Toys for Tots; Blythdale Children's Hospital toy donations; Somers Education Foundation; Michael Frey Fund in memory of him; National MS Society; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Westchester Medical Center for their trauma center; Dutchess County SPCA; and Pace Law School. I also donated time and servies to the poor/sickly who could not afford to pay a legal fee and prepared Powers of Attorney. I provide legal assistance to a family whose home/property/cars were severly damaged by Sandy in 2012. Additionally, I donated money to a cancer victim, whose leg was amputated, who wanted to travel to England to see his girlfriend and travel. I donate a significant amount of time to NYSTLA for the betterment of our legal community in the Westchester Region, including coordination and partcipation in CLE for NYSTLI and Pace Law School. In 2012 & 2013 Pro Bono services were and are donated to victims of Hurricane "Sandy". In addition to the above, I donated to the JCK Foundation for those who suffer from Obbessive Compulsive Disorder; donated a plaque in Somers NY in memory of Gianna Balog, a child who tragically died as a result of insufficient knowledge as to how to use an AED (my daughter wrote a song in Gianna's memory and also sang the song at the dedication ceremony); donated to the Coalition for the Homeless; Scarsdale Rotary Club who donates all proceeds to Charity; donated to a 2 year old boy whose father suddenly passed away and mothr has MS; including a Foundation that Builds Home for our disabled Veterans.

The Bar owes him a considerable debt of gratitude". , 2009

Thousand of Federal Court cases against Medtronic Inc for a faulty defibrilator lead wire were dismissed, but our case was plead differntly than the Federal cases and survived the Motion to dismiss.
