Robin D. Carton is a principal member of the law firm of Carton & Rosoff PC, and, for 35 years, she has primarily focused on matrimonial and family law, child custody and parental access, collaborative divorce, divorce and custody mediation, parent coordination, adoption, and guardianship.  Ms. Carton is Co-President of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts – NY Chapter, Past-President of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and a current State Delegate to WBASNY, and a founding member and Secretary of the Association of the Collaborative Lawyers of Rockland-Westchester.  Ms. Carton is President of the Law Guardian Association of Westchester County, an organization composed of attorneys dedicated to effective child advocacy.  She serves on the Moderate Means Matrimonial Panel of Pace Women's Justice Center, and is a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Justice Brandeis Westchester Law Society, and the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. 

Ms. Carton has presented, lectured, and published extensively on the role of the attorney for the child and on best practices in family law litigation and alternative dispute resolution.  She has frequently been appointed by the Family and Supreme Courts in Westchester and Putnam Counties to serve as attorney for the child and has been appointed by the Surrogate's Court as referee, guardian, guardian ad litem, and court evaluator.

Ms. Carton earned her J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1981, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in New York.  Robin D. Carton has been named one of the Top 25 Westchester County Super Lawyers for each of the last six years.
