Brittnay M. McMahon is a Partner at O’Connell and Aronowitz in Latham, New York. She handles a variety of matters, including matters involving real estate, civil litigation, estate planning and trusts. She represents clients in the Latham areas as well as throughout all of the state of New York.

Brittnay received her bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany and her law degree from Albany Law School. During her legal education, she worked with the Albany Law School Pro Bono Society, engaging in pro bono work and winning a pro bono case involving a mother of four in danger of eviction.

Admitted to practice in New York, Brittnay's prior legal experience includes interning with a federal judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York as well as the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of New York. She also interned with the New York State Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Department.

Outside of her law practice, Brittnay is involved in a variety of activities and organizations. She serves as Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady Board of Directors and is also Chairperson of the organization’s Campership Campaign. She was named 2017 Outstanding Young Professional Philanthropist by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of New York, Hudson-Mohawk Chapter for her work on behalf of Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady. 

Brittnay is also an active member of various professional organizations. She is President of the Adirondack Women's Bar Association where she had previously served as CLE Chair, she  belongs to the Albany County Bar Association, the Saratoga County Bar Association, the Capital District Women’s Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
