Michael A. Bottar is the founder of Bottar Law, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm's offices in Syracuse, he represents clients throughout upstate New York. A significant portion of Mr. Bottar's caseload consists of birth injuries, surgical errors, hospital negligence, misdiagnoses and other forms of medical malpractice. He has been able to obtain significant compensation for his clients in these types of matters, including numerous seven-figure negotiated settlements and jury awards. Mr. Bottar has handled other personal injury and wrongful death cases as well, including those arising out of incidents involving defective products, premises liability, motor vehicle crashes, construction site and other workplace accidents, and toxic torts, and he has experience pursuing compensation from government defendants under the Federal Tort Claims Act. He has obtained similar favorable results in these types of cases, and his colleagues have taken note.
