Amanda Iannone-Hens

Actively practicing law in the state of New York since 2020, Amanda Iannone-Hens is an associate attorney at Colwell Law. With multiple offices across the state, she represents her clients from the firm’s office located in Albany. Currently, she extends her service to people who are facing issues involving family law, encompassing anything from divorce and child custody to adoption and domestic violence. 

With a major in engineering and management and a minor in psychology, Ms. Iannone-Hens obtained her bachelor’s degree with honors from Clarkson University in 2016. While at the university, she was an active member of the Engineering and Management Society’s board and took an active role in their political science group as well.

Upon completing her first academic degree, Ms. Iannone-Hens joined the Albany Law School to pursue law studies. During her days as a student at the law school, not only did she devote time to academics, but she was equally focused on gaining a comprehensive understanding of the country’s judicial system. She interned at both the Watervliet Corporation Counsel and the New York State Department of Health and gained valuable professional experience. 

Extensively skilled in criminal defense, Ms. Iannone-Hens' role as a staff attorney at a prominent national law firm headquartered in New York City helped her fine-tune and further her experience as a litigator. The profound understanding of psychology that she developed during her time at Clarkson University enables her to comprehend the intricacies of human emotions and bring a unique perspective while handling family law cases.
