Mark J. Wagner, Jr.

As a senior associate at The Wagoner Firm, PLLC, Mark J. Wagner Jr. provides a variety of legal services for his business clients throughout the greater Albany, New York, metropolitan area. He works out of the firm’s offices in the state’s capital city, and he has been admitted to practice in New York since 2014 as well as before the U.S District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Mr. Wagner’s experience is broad, and many of his clients have been entrepreneurs who are contemplating launching a new venture. At the outset, he advises them on the most appropriate form of legal entity that the business should operate under. Once it has been formed, Mr. Wagner prepares and reviews employment agreements and other types of contracts, and he thereafter assists them with regulatory compliance and provides general business advice and counsel. He also has litigation experience, and he puts that to use in the event that contract disputes or other types of disputes should arise between his clients and third parties. In addition, Mr. Wagner represents them when they are seeking financing or acquisitions in order to expand their operations.

Mr. Wagner obtained his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Geneseo and received a Bachelor of Arts in communications in 2009. He then enrolled at Albany Law School, where he was a member of the Albany Law Review before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2013. While he was in law school, Mr. Wagner also attended the University at Albany, obtaining a Master of Business Administration in 2013.
