Mr. Houston completed his undergraduate studies in 2005 at the University at Buffalo, where he was a member of the Anthropology Club, the Irish Student Association and the New York State Archaeological Association, along with serving as the president of the Geological Society of America. After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology, he returned to his alma mater and worked at the university’s Archaeology Survey as project director.
With a fervent passion to pursue an education in law, Mr. Houston enrolled at the Albany Law School, where he was vice president of the Pro Bono Society and volunteered at the Albany County Bar Association through the Attorney for the Day program. He received his Juris Doctor in 2014, and the next year, he obtained his license to practice law in New York. Later on, he became licensed to practice law in New Hampshire and gained admission to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
Within his legal community, Mr. Houston maintains close affiliations with myriad organizations, such as the New York Archaeological Council (associate member), the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.
