Rosemarie Riddell Bogdan

Rosemarie Riddell Bogdan has concentrated in the area of personal injury law since entering private practice over twenty five years ago. She graduated from Cornell University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and from Albany Law School with a Juris Doctor degree in 1992.

After serving as a confidential law clerk for a New York State Supreme Court Justice, Rosemarie entered private practice in 1993. She has been a partner of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti since 1999.

Over the years, Rosemarie has had the privilege of representing individuals in all aspects of personal injury litigation. She has successfully handled cases in the New York State Supreme Courts, New York State Court of Claims, New York State Appellate Division, United States District Courts, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Superior Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Her successes on behalf of clients may be found in many areas of personal injury practice including defective medical devices, drugs and other products, construction site safety, automobile liability, and defective roadway design. Rosemarie represents clients in multi-district litigations for injuries they suffered as the result of defective medical devices and defective drugs. She has been admitted pro hac vice to pursue these actions in many District Courts located throughout the United States including the states of Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island and Texas. Rosemarie is pleased to have been appointed by the Honorable Robert B. Kugler of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey to a leadership position in the national In Re: Valsartan N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) Contamination Products Liability Litigation. Rosemarie is serving as the Co-Science Chairperson of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee. Additionally, she is honored to have been appointed to a leadership position on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the National Zantac Products Liability Litigation (In Re: Zantac (Ranitidine) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2924) by the Honorable Robin L. Rosenberg.

Rosemarie is asked to speak frequently at continuing legal education seminars on subjects such as defective drugs and medical devices, New York State Construction Safety Laws and various other aspects of personal injury litigation. She is the past President of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association (CDTLA), a not-for-profit corporation with the primary purpose to encourage frequent consultation among its members to promote the profession and to seek to alleviate difficulties that the members may encounter in the course of their practice. She is also member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association, National Trial Lawyers, Top 25 Mass Tort Trial Lawyers and National Trial Lawyers Top 100. Rosemarie also serves the community through her volunteer work as a Board Member of the Cornell Club of the Greater Capital District and Dake Foundation for Children.
