Sarah I. Wood

Serving as the managing partner at Donnellan Law, PLLC, in Ballston Spa, New York, Sarah I. Wood has over a decade of experience in family law, personal injury law and real estate law. Advocating for clients in the Saratoga Springs area of New York, she handles cases in matrimonial law, collaborative divorce and wills.

Upon graduating with her bachelor’s degree in journalism, Ms. Wood attended Albany Law School to hone her legal acumen. She earned her J.D. in 2008 and was admitted to the State Bar of New York the following year. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. Having appeared in both local and state courts, she has built extensive trial advocacy experience. She has also successfully argued before the New York State Court of Appeals.

Ms. Wood is an active member of numerous associations, including the Saratoga County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Capital District Association of Collaborative Divorce, where she served on the board as a director of membership and marketing. She previously served as the chairwoman of the Saratoga County Young Republicans and the Ballston Republican Committee. Furthermore, she is a graduate of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.

Additionally, Ms. Wood is a member of the Order of Barristers, an honor reserved for practitioners who demonstrate exceptional skills in mock trial, moot court and other advocacy programs. She holds an “Excellent” rating on Avvo, demonstrating her commitment to building customized strategies and providing quality client service.
