Details

Dennis R. Vetrano Jr. is the founder of his eponymous law firm that is headquartered in Beacon, New York. He attended the University at Albany as an undergraduate, and in 1993, he received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science and a minor in economics. Remaining in the state’s capital city, Mr. Vetrano pursued his legal education at Albany Law School. While he was there, he participated in the Domenick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition and served several internships, including one with the Office of the New York State Attorney General, before obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1997.

Mr. Vetrano focuses his practice on divorce and other family law matters, assisting people throughout Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, and Ulster counties and their surrounding areas. His training in mediation and collaborative law often allows him to help those of his clients who are facing the end of their marriages come to an accord on such matters as property division, alimony, child support, and child custody and visitation, without having to go through a protracted and often divisive courtroom battle. His other family law experience has encompassed paternity establishment and disputes, the preparation and review of prenuptial and post-marital agreements, adoptions, domestic violence, and the enforcement of and modifications to existing support and parenting court orders. Highly regarded by his fellow attorneys, Mr. Vetrano has received an "Excellent" peer review rating through Avvo.

Mr. Vetrano is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of several professional groups, including the Trial Lawyers and Family Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association. Active in his community as well, he has coached youth soccer and has donated his time to local free legal clinics.
