The senior founding partner of Sonin & Genis Attorneys at Law, LLC, in the Bronx, New York, he handles myriad personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, brain injuries and wrongful death, among many others.

Mr. Genis completed his undergraduate studies in 1980, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He went on to attend Syracuse University College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1983. The very next year, he obtained his license to practice law in New York and later gained admission to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is also licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Connecticut, and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

A consummate professional through and through, Mr. Genis has garnered the praise and adulation of his peers for his practice that centers on providing clients with judicious legal representation backed with decades of legal and practical knowledge. For his many contributions, he has been inducted as a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers in their Top 100 Trial Lawyers list.
