Daniel Berger

Daniel Berger is the founder of the legal firm Daniel Berger Attorney at Law, located in Bronx and Manhattan, New York. He serves Social Security Disability claimants in the New York metro area and the Nassau, Suffolk and Orange Counties. He helps them with initial applications, hearings and appeals for matters such as Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability Insurance. 

After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University, Mr. Berger enrolled at the New York University School of Law to pursue his legal studies. Obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1992, he received his licensed to practice in New Jersey (1992) and New York (1993). He is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Berger began his legal career as an assistant district attorney with the Kings County District Attorney's office. Fluent in Spanish and English, he assists a diverse clientele, representing them before the Social Security Administration, in administrative hearings and in federal courts. With more than three decades of proficiency in the field, he has gained extensive experience in helping the differently abled population gain access to the benefits that are rightfully theirs.

Actively involved in his community, Mr. Berger has spoken at the Bronx County Re-entry Task Force program about helping disabled people in the Bronx obtain their Social Security Disability benefits. He has also spoken at seminars conducted by the National Federation of the Blind of New York and sponsored the Disability Pride Parade.
