Renée C. Hill

Renée C. Hill is a criminal defense attorney with about three decades of legal experience, serving at her law firm Richman Hill & Associates, PLLC, in Bronx County, New York. She has been defending her clients from all sections of society across New York City, who have been charged with criminal offenses.

Commencing her career in 1992, Ms. Hill has represented clients from the media and entertainment industry including radio personnel. She developed fierce trial skills through years of courtroom experience representing hundreds of cases. She handles cases from minor assaults to high-profile homicides, thereby gaining experience in working on a variety of cases.

Ms. Hill obtained her undergraduate degree in legal studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1989. She pursued her law studies at St. John’s University School of Law and received her degree in 1992.

Ms. Hill served as the Acting Justice of the Village of Harriman Justice Court for seven years. Ms. Hill has served as the president of the Black Bar Association of Bronx County. She is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Bronx County Bar Association, The New York State Bar Association and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.

She earned the President’s Award for Outstanding Leadership and Service from the Black Bar Association of Bronx County. She has also won a Certificate of Honor at the Thurgood Marshall Junior Mock Trial Program.
