Anthony J. Colucci III, is managing attorney at Colucci & Gallaher, P.C., focusing on business litigation, products liability, health care law and corporate governance.
Educated at The Catholic University of America – Columbus School of Law, Mr. Colucci edited the school’s law review and worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission while achieving his juris doctorate. He earned his undergraduate degree in government from St. Lawrence University.
Mr. Colucci has represented businesses throughout the United States in a variety of disputes, but has focused his work on defending complex, large-exposure products liability matters. He has argued for and made new law in various courts in Illinois, New York and Massachusetts. In Western New York, he represented a major health system in its negotiation of a $98 million settlement payment from a municipal government. After an eight week trial, his client in a separate matter was also the only successful party defending what was, at the time, the single largest personal injury verdict in Western New York history.
Away from the gavel, Mr. Colucci has served as chair of several non-profit organizations, including Leadership Buffalo, Inc., St. Thomas More Guild, Buffalo Place, Inc., Western New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board, and St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. He likewise serves as an active board member for various for-profit entities. He has been honored with several prestigious accolades, such as being peer-review rated Distinguished* through Martindale-Hubbell.
*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
