She is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County, and she has served as the first female president of the Western New York Matrimonial Trial Lawyers Association since 2003. She is also active in the Assigned Counsel Program of the Bar Association of Erie County Aid to Indigent Prisoners Society, Inc.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Venzon has maintained active involvement with her local Girl Scouts, and she has received both the Women of Distinction Award as well as the 2003 Outstanding Leader of the Year Award for her exceptional contributions to the organization and her community.
