Gabriella E. Agostinelli

Gabriella Agostinelli is a Senior Associate Attorney at Berardi Immigration Law, where she has spent the entirety of her legal career since joining the firm in 2014. Her practice sits at the intersection of business and humanity: she counsels multinational employers on moving talent across borders while also walking individuals and families through some of the most personal decisions they'll ever make.

On the corporate side, Gabriella is a steady hand for HR teams, in-house counsel, and global mobility leads navigating H-1B, L-1, TN, and O-1 cases, PERM and employment-based green cards, and the compliance questions that come with a workforce that doesn't stop at the border. Employers turn to her not just for technical command of the regulations, but for the kind of practical, business-aware advice that helps a hire actually happen on time. On the family side, she guides clients through spousal petitions, fiancé visas, adjustment of status, and naturalization, often during seasons of real upheaval, and brings the same rigor she brings to her corporate work.

Gabriella's path into immigration law began as an intern with the International Institute of Buffalo, where she supported the legal department on a wide range of matters serving refugees and immigrants in Western New York. That early window into the lives behind the case files shaped how she practices today. Before joining Berardi Immigration Law, she practiced at one of Buffalo's largest firms and held a competitive writing fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, teaching legal research and writing to incoming students.

A third-generation Italian-American, Gabriella understands intuitively what it means for a family to plant roots in a new country. Clients describe her as warm, responsive, and refreshingly real, an attorney who never leaves her personality at the door. Her standard is simple: treat every client the way she'd want her own family treated.

Gabriella earned her Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 2014 and graduated summa cum laude from Canisius College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences. She is admitted to practice in New York, serves as Treasurer of the Upstate New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and sits on the Board of Bridges from Borders, a nonprofit supporting immigrant and refugee communities in Western New York.

Gabriella has been selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year from 2019 through 2025, a recognition reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in New York under 40 or in practice for 10 years or less.
