Jake Cercone

Jake Cercone is the founder of Cercone Law PLLC, a Buffalo, New York firm representing individuals, families, and business owners across Western New York in litigation, real estate, business law, and estate planning. He helps clients resolve disputes, close and structure real estate transactions, form and advise businesses, and plan and administer estates — bringing the same attention to detail to a courtroom dispute as to a corporate deal.

A graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School, Jake was awarded the Professor Thomas E. Headrick "Trees and Forest" Award, given to the student of corporate finance who most clearly understands a transaction fully while getting the details precisely correct — a philosophy he carries into his practice today. Licensed in New York since 2023, Jake was selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2025–2026, a peer-reviewed honor awarded to a select number of accomplished attorneys in each state.
