Attorney Kelly A. Feron has more than three decades of experience advocating for the rights of families. She is the founding partner of the law firm of Feron Poleon LLP in Amherst, New York. She has a large clientele from different areas of New York, including East Aurora, Lewiston, Lockport, Buffalo, Clarence, Niagara County, Williamsville, Amherst, Pendleton, Tonawanda, Lancaster, Erie County, Depew and Orchard Park.
Ms. Feron’s practice revolves around serving the best interests of her clients in cases pertaining to divorce, child custody, parenting time and visitation, child support and spousal support, property division, military divorce, same-sex marriages and collaborative divorce. She also assists her clients with estate planning and probate.
Admitted to practice in the state of New York since 1990, Ms. Feron completed her graduation from Canisius College. She then pursued her legal education and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit School of Law.
An accomplished and fearless attorney, Ms. Feron understands how heavy a family law issue can weigh on her clients’ minds and is determined to fight hard for their best interests. She has been able to obtain positive results for her clients, through either mediation or litigation. She handles cases at both trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Feron served for many years on the Erie County Bar Association Judiciary Committee. She is a member of Erie County Bar Association’s Matrimonial and Family Law Committee and the New York State Bar Association.
Talented in many aspects, Ms. Feron is one of the authors of “Religious Observance as a Factor in Child Custody and Visitation.” She also has experience as a lecturer for the New York State Bar Association.
