Ryan Carney

Ryan Carney is a co-founder of DiPasquale & Carney, LLP, located in Buffalo, New York. His practice includes a variety of matters, including matrimonial/family law, criminal law, corporate transactions and litigation, and estate planning and litigation.

Having completed his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University at Buffalo, Mr. Carney went on to complete his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2017. Even before graduating as a lawyer, he joined a private firm as a law clerk, honing his skills in the field of his practice. After getting licensed to practice law, he continued working at the firm as an associate. These years of experience working with clients and handling a variety of issues have helped him cater to even the most complex issues.

Even before getting into law school, Mr. Carney spent almost 12 years in business management and development. Understanding the internal workings of businesses and the factors that affect their functioning and profits, he is able to translate that to his collaboration with companies and in helping them sort out their issues.

Mr. Carney is known among clients and colleagues for his approachability, proactive stance and diligent work ethic. He believes that the practice of law requires a flexible approach, tailoring his methods to meet the unique demands of each case. This philosophy has enabled him to effectively litigate across a multitude of courts, including surrogate, family, county, supreme, city and town courts, as well as administrative courts within New York state.
