Dana L. Salazar

Dana L. Salazar is the managing partner of the law firm of Salazar and Erikson LLP.  She graduated from the University at Albany in 1990 and prior to practicing law enjoyed a successful career in business management.  She graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School in 2005 with a concentration in civil litigation. 

After graduating from law school, Dana Salazar served as personal law clerk to the Hon. Susan Phillips Read of the New York Court of Appeals (2005-2007).  Following her clerkship, Ms. Salazar joined the Trial Practice department at Jones Day in New York, New York, where she worked on a variety of complex commercial litigation cases, including many transnational litigation cases.  In 2009, Ms. Salazar returned to the Albany area as an associate at Tabner, Ryan and Keniry, LLP.  In January 2015, she was a founding partner of Salazar and Erikson LLP.  Ms. Salazar represents clients in all types of litigation and dispute resolution, including partnership and business association controversies, breach of contract and real estate disputes as well as personal injury and property damage cases.  In addition, she provides general business support to both start-up and established business owners.  Ms. Salazar practices in federal and state court at both the trial and appellate levels and has represented and supported clients in cases involving international parties.
