Christopher Salvo

With over two decades of combined experience in the real estate and financial services sectors, Christopher provides legal counsel in matters of residential real estate and consumer protection law. As a Long Island real estate attorney, he represents buyers and sellers of residential property throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, guiding clients through complex transactions and title matters.

In addition to transactional practice, Mr. Salvo leverages an extensive regulatory compliance background to advocate for consumers and debtors on issues arising under consumer protection statutes. He holds professional certifications from the American Bankers Association as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and from the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) as a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO).

Mr. Salvo’s career encompasses senior legal and compliance roles at New York real estate law firms, where he focused on residential real estate and mortgage banking. His experience extends to the private sector, including management positions within the compliance department of a major Midwest mortgage lender with approximately $1.5 billion in assets and supervisory responsibilities at a leading New York thrift with assets exceeding $15 billion. He has also provided regulatory compliance consulting as part of the Financial Services Risk practice at one of the nation’s largest professional services firms, advising financial institutions across the United States.

Mr. Salvo is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, participating in committees and sections focused on real property, compliance, and banking law. He is committed to delivering practical solutions, protecting client interests and achieving favorable outcomes efficiently.
