Nancy Burner

Nancy Burner is a founding partner of Burner Prudenti Law, P.C., located in East Setauket, New York. She focuses her practice on estate planning and probate, and elder law, helping individuals and families address their legal needs and plan effectively for the future. Her practice encompasses a broad range of matters, including wills, trusts, living wills, powers of attorney, probate and estate administration, guardianships and conservatorships.

Ms. Burner works with clients to develop estate plans that reflect their personal circumstances, priorities and long-term goals. Through her work in elder law and estate planning, she assists clients in addressing issues related to asset protection, incapacity planning and the administration of estates. Her experience also includes guiding families through guardianship and conservatorship matters and helping clients establish legal documents that provide clear direction for future decisions.

Ms. Burner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1985. She later attended Hofstra University School of Law, where she honed her shrewd legal acumen and received her Juris Doctor with distinction in 1988.

Admitted to practice law in New York since 1988, Ms. Burner is a Certified Elder Law Attorney, a designation awarded by the National Elder Law Foundation. Her professional recognition reflects her focus and experience in the field of elder law.
