Andrew D. Blum is a partner with the law firm of Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, LLP, located in Garden City, New York. For more than 30 years, he has focused his practice on matrimonial and family law, representing clients from throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties, as well as in the five boroughs of NYC and Westchester County in divorce proceedings and related matters such as child custody and complex property division.

After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Union College in 1978, Mr. Blum earned his law degree in 1981 from what is now known as the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Throughout his career, Mr. Blum has had many opportunities to contribute his skills to various endeavors, including his service on the Nassau County Alternate Dispute Resolution Matrimonial Panel. In addition, he has taught since 1995 at The E. David Woycik, Jr. Intensive Trial Techniques Program at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.
