Barbara Doblin Tilker

Handling workers’ compensation, personal injury, Social Security Disability and medical malpractice cases across New York, Barbara Doblin Tilker knows what it takes to help people get on the path to recovery. She is a senior partner at Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP, where she represents people in Long Island, the Bronx, Westchester, Newburgh, Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, New York City and Staten Island as well as those in Suffolk and Nassau counties.

Having nearly 40 years of experience means Ms. Tilker has addressed every aspect of Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Security Income claims, including those on behalf of adults and children. She takes her role as an advocate and advisor seriously, working toward maximum compensation on every case.

A published author, Ms. Tilker is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association. She also conducts seminars for unions, physicians and legal organizations.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English from New York University in 1971, Ms. Tilker received a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 1977. Licensed in New York, she is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
