Catherine M. Montiel

Catherine M. Montiel is the managing partner of the law firm Miller, Montiel & Strano, P.C., in Garden City, New York. She focuses her practice exclusively on matters related to personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, brain injury, child injuries, construction site accidents, nursing home abuse, premises liability, spinal cord injury, ridesharing accidents and wrongful death. With about three decades of experience practicing law, she serves clients throughout the New York metro.

Ms. Montiel is a tenacious litigator and a zealous advocate for her clients who have been injured through no fault of their own but through the negligent and careless acts of another party. Fighting persistently for her clients’ rights and liberties, she has obtained numerous favorable verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients.  

Graduating cum laude, Ms. Montiel received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Adelphi University. She pursued her legal studies at the St. John’s University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
