David Ross Ehrlich

David Ross Ehrlich is a partner at Stagg Wabnik Law Group in Garden City, New York. Serving clients across Long Island and New York, he represents them in all matters of labor and employment law. Whether it is a wrongful termination or a breach of contract, he has experience representing both the employee and the employer. Dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation, he ensures that his clients receive personalized attention and competent guidance in every case.

Mr. Ehrlich has represented clients across the full spectrum of litigation, guiding them through trials, appeals and hearings in federal courts, state courts and administrative agencies. Beyond the courtroom, he has negotiated collective bargaining agreements and managed every aspect of grievance proceedings, representing both employers and bargaining units with equal effectiveness.

On the management advisory side, Mr. Ehrlich counsels companies on routine employment challenges, including hiring, discipline, discharge and compliance with laws like the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and whistleblower protections. He also develops and delivers Equal Employment Opportunity training programs for both managerial and nonmanagerial staff and helps organizations navigate reductions-in-force strategically.

With a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Binghamton University, Mr. Ehrlich pursued his law degree at Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, he was an active contributor to the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his understanding of labor law, appellate advocacy and civil liberties. He received his Juris Doctor in 1999 and in the next year, he was admitted to practice law in New York. He is further admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
