Richard N. Tannenbaum has been practicing law for 40 years with the last 25 devoted exclusively to high-end matrimonial and family law. He has been peer-review rated AV since 1984 by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recognized as a Top Attorney in North America - 2016 edition of the Who's Who Directories. He was named to the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys in New York State by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. He has been selected as one of Long Island's Top Rated and Leading Lawyers of 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He has lectured to fellow attorneys on the topic of electronic discovery and the obligation to preserve electronically stored information. As a result of his experience in the field, Mr. Tannenbaum has been appointed a Referee by the courts in several complex matrimonial cases and has served as Referee to hear and determine all issues of discovery in the case of Etzion v. Etzion, a leading matrimonial case in electronic discovery in New York.
