Sari M. Friedman

Sari M. Friedman is the managing partner at the law firm Friedman & Friedman PLLC in Garden City, New York. With more than four decades of experience helping clients with their legal issues, she focuses her practice exclusively on family law issues, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, fathers’ rights, high net worth divorce, property division, same-sex divorce and visitation. 

Compassionate and empathetic, Ms. Friedman understands how overwhelming and confusing it can be for clients when they are dealing with their family legal matters. She serves as a zealous and tireless advocate for her clients’ rights and freedom, with a firm commitment to their needs and best interests. 

With a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, Ms. Friedman earned her Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and graduated with honors. She was also a member of the law school’s law review.

After law school, Ms. Friedman served as a law clerk at the Appellate Division of the Second Judicial Department. Focusing on family and matrimonial law, she got into private practice in 1984. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves as a general counsel of the Fathers’ Rights Association of New York State.
