In May of 2001, Ms. Zelmanovitz graduated from Fordham University's School of Law. In law school, she served as a legal intern at the Family and Child Protection Clinic. She received her bachelor’s degree cum laude in political science and communications from Queens College. She is authorized to practice law in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and the Southern Districts.
While interning for the Honorable Sherry Klein Heitler, Justice of the Supreme Court, New York County, Ms. Zelmanovitz honed her analytical skills by composing court decisions and memoranda of law. As an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, she got to share her passion for law with enthusiastic students.
