Anthony M. La Pinta

Anthony M. La Pinta is a partner at La Pinta, Lesko & Miskiewicz, P.C., a Hauppauge, New York-based law firm. He represents clients in a range of complex legal matters, bringing experience across criminal defense, civil litigation and personal injury cases. His practice includes defending individuals facing criminal charges, including white collar crimes, drug offenses, sex offenses and driving while intoxicated (DWI), as well as representing plaintiffs in civil disputes involving personal injury, civil rights, defamation, privacy and premises liability.

Mr. La Pinta also handles matters involving construction and motor vehicle accidents, nursing home abuse, assault and battery, environmental and energy issues, and litigation and appeals. He addresses legal challenges that can have significant consequences for clients’ personal lives, reputations and financial well-being. His broad range of experience allows him to approach each matter with attention to the specific circumstances, applicable law and potential legal remedies. Whether defending clients against criminal allegations or pursuing claims for individuals who have suffered harm, he works to protect their interests and navigate the complexities of the legal process.

Mr. La Pinta earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oswego before attending Temple University Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor. His legal education prepared him for a career addressing a wide range of legal disputes and representing clients in state and federal courts.

Admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, Mr. La Pinta is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

Mr. La Pinta is an active member of the legal community. His professional affiliations include the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association Criminal Justice Section, the New York State Defenders Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
