Michael W. Meyers

Michael W. Meyers is a partner at the highly regarded matrimonial and family law firm of Petroske Riezenman & Meyers, P.C. in Suffolk County, Long Island NY. He earned his law degree from Touro Law Center in May, 2011. As a student, Mr. Meyers attained numerous academic honors, including awards in Pre-Trial Litigation and Family Law Clinic. He was previously associated with Tini & Associates, P.C., a divorce and family law firm, and interned with the Suffolk County County Attorney’s Office Family Law Bureau. Mr. Meyers was admitted to practice law in New York in 2012 and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 2016.

Michael W. Meyers practices exclusively in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, and other family law matters, and appears frequently in the Supreme Court and Family Court in Suffolk County, NY. He has also successfully briefed and orally argued a number of appeals to the First and Second Departments of the Supreme Court Appellate Division.   

Mr. Meyers' energy, compassion, knowledge, and dedication have earned him a multitude of academic and professional awards and recognitions, as well as favorable results for his clients, either through negotiation or decisions after trial.  He enjoys the respect and admiration of his colleagues on the bench and bar, and is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association Family Law Committee and the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association.

In addition, Mr. Meyers serves as Trustee for St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY, and was recognized in 2017 by Long Island Business News for Leadership in Law.  

Michael enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with his family. He lives in Suffolk County with his wife and children.
